Orchard Eagles Geography Bee

To 3^rd/4^th and 5^th/6^th graders and parents:

This year instead of Knowledge Bowl, Orchard Elementary will be having a Geography Bee! This program will be a great way for students to become more familiar with our state, nation, and various areas of the world. All students 3^rd through 6^th grade are invited to participate.

There will be no formal classes or meetings to attend; preparation will need to be completed at home. The Geography Bee will be held towards the end of March (date to be announced at a later time) and winners from each grade will receive prizes. Study guides are available for downloading by clicking on the links below.

Those without internet access are welcome to pick up copies of the study guides in the front office. 3^rd and 4^th graders are responsible for only the information found in the 3^rd/4^th grade study guide. 5^th and 6^th graders will be responsible for the information found in both the 3^rd/4^th study guide as well as the 5^th/6^th study guide. These study guides are in part based on the Utah state social studies core, and are a great way to supplement what your child is already learning in the classroom.
